Hi, I'm Anselm, Illustrator and Concept Artist from northern Germany. I've worked in Games, TTRPGs, and recently even on a feature film.

Saw #THOR: #LoveandThunder - Savvy surprised me with the movie last night. It was a wonderfully fun film. Solid follow up to #Ragnarok. @TaikaWaititi has a clear voice and vision for Thor. I hope he gets one more movie at least. I’d give Love and Thunder 3 out of 5 stars.
Tonight, I went out with family to see #Thor: Love and Thunder. Not as good as Ragnarok. However, I still enjoyed the film. Seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy crew again before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was exciting. I believe that was my last Summer film!

My Neighbor Totoro
Two sisters, Satsuki and Mei, explore their new country house and end up befriending the spirits that live nearby. One of the chillest films I’ve ever seen. The soundtrack and animation are amazing. A charming, cute film.
Just out from seeing Thor. Gotta say, that was one fun movie.
Christian Bale as Gorr was so good too, probably my favouirte character in the film. #ThorLoveAndThunder #Gorr
Frankly, I’m just waiting for Illumination to announce an Eric Gullion directed film.
I mean the man created the Minions and his entire style is pretty much the basis of Illumination’s films. Especially Despicable Me.

Movie [64/200] — The Black Phone — [A-]
A unique twist on a kidnapping story. Well paced with hardly a slow moment. Ethan Hawke is great as the villain. Does a great job with its suspense and has effective scares. Solid horror film.
Thor: Love And Thunder (2022)
A lot has been said about the VFX, but the boring story is the real death knell for this film. While it touches upon some serious topics, it focuses more on unceasing comedic skits, robbing the plot and characters of their drama and impact.

#ThorLoveAndThunder was a funny movie. But fun is also the weakness which makes it average Marvel film.

I was personally so dissatisfied with Christian Bale's Gorr, not enough to be remembered as a great villain. I wanted otherwise.

However, I liked the ending and Jane's arc.
#ThorLoveAndThunder TRULY gave us The Mighty Thor.
Jane Foster fans are going to LOVE this film.

Movie [63/200] — Vampyr — [C]
Shot beautifully and manages to be unsettling, even for it’s time. A large portion of the story is told by text and limited dialogue, which was a limitation for the time, but it did drag the movie down a lot. Neat early horror film.

Can’t believe that The Amazing Spider-Man is 10 years old!
So much nostalgia for that time. I remember obsessively looking for every new piece of information for the film. It was quite exciting watching all the leaks, toy reveals and game news.
