I've been working on a complex project and,
while this lady is looking good, she wasn't quite right & had to be axed from the picture! 🪓😲
She didn't deserve such terrible treatment, I gave her her own space with an background...she's feeling much better now 😅

i'm working on compositing Nukkie with the background... I'm also considering a slight glow coming from the sitting figure to perhaps lighten the bottom just a tad with an under light...

Nearly finished, just need to do a bit more work on the background. I decided to go wild and draw in some sort of jungle 😀 Female Sulawesi wrinkled hornbill, coloured pencils on Pastelmat, pan pastel background. A4 sized, reference taken in Avifauna Birdpark

I was going to paint this in acrylic, but decided to make an oil sketch instead. I will probably paint this pig twice; a large version and this smaller one. I don’t usually paint on a dark ground. I usually scrub in raw umber or burnt sienna. I’m experimenting.
