First collab piece for 2021, and first ever collab with @tuomodesign. Tuomo was able to take a model that I sculpted and give it some life with his interesting use of texture, chrome reflections, and amazing colors. Cheers to the year of collabs, 2021.

need to use more texture, i think. will probs do a flat render and then try textured brushes? the color play has come out well, though. bodes well for finishing my first wip comm in the next few days.
I found a watercolor brush on the CSP material database that I really like. most watercolor brushes either lack the right texture, or multiply like crazy when you pick up the brush. This one hits the look and feel that makes me feel like I'm doing real watercolor sketches.
I learned to 3D, texture, draw and paint, and music more.
I'm gonna keep learning more, there's a lot to do, hopefully I'll get closer to what I want to achieve.

A gold/Australium Black Rose retexture, done as a commission for @JoeTheMainMan1. It is fully gold (save for the moving bits like the screws). I have given this a custom normalmap to make the etchings from the regular version now into engravings.

I really wanted to push myself with texture, mainly with fur, so here's a practice! I always like to practice with what I already know first before reworking with proper reference, helps me see my flaws c:

🍄 playing around with texture, layer properties, & gradient maps in Procreate —
the green one is the original where i was working to create a glow effect with layer properties. The orange is texting out a gradient map on top of the flattened layers. Neat!
