So I guess it's time to make my art my pinned post. I'm Steph (they/them). I'm a mixed media artist. I've recently been doing a lot of character illustration, embroidery, & playing w/ textiles. I also post about mental illness, fandom, & life, but you'll see my art as it happens

These are the full spreads I created for the Panchatantra mock ups. I really wanted them to have an authentic feel to them. They are both heavily influenced by kalamkari textiles. Hoping they will become a real book some day x

Starting off the Kiki Crusaders character showcase with Jason! Jason is the younger brother of David, and he has hammerhead gauntlets which allow him to reflect projectiles. He often over estimates his abilities, which gets him into silly situations.

Another WIP of our D&D party members. This Elf is Leofaren, one of or Clerics. He values knowledge most, and prefers a captive to a corpse when dealing with hostiles.

In Gen 2, towns each have different colors and sometimes designs for their roof tiles. Often, these end up on the routes in the same bank as those towns with some exceptions, but some go unseen in the final game due to either the town or the route not having a tile capable of it.

A little break from painting and started work on my knight. Love basing miniatures, this one is the floor of a sector imperialis cathedral/public building. Thinking marble tiles.

Meet Chip, one of my earlier characters I've ever made and I still love him.

He's a treasure hunting gecko who travels around a world full of reptiles... and treasure! With his backpack, he can grapple, roll, glide, and launch himself into many areas and find neat old stuff!

This is my first time ever painting or even drawing an icthyosaur, I think. It’s a Temnodontosaurus. I feel like everyone depicts icthyosaurs as graceful and dolphin-like. Nah man they still giant killer sea reptiles. Better luck next time mr plesiosaur.

Archaeologists think they were first bred for their colorful feathers, which were used in rituals & textiles. Indeed, you can find evidence of turkeys all over Aztec & Maya iconography, such as the Aztec turkey deity Chalchiuhtotolin, god of disease & plagues. (2/3)

Because I've seen other people do this, here are my starters that I've chosen during my travels across the Pokémon world. Minus Froakie and Rowlet, all of my starters are reptiles. XD

And we’re off! Let’s start with Venue 1, in Zeals where you will find ‘Bound by Stitch’ a group showing a diverse mix of traditional and contemporary textiles. Hand & machine stitching, needle felting, digital print, surface embellishment.
