Isis was first mentioned in the Old Kingdom of Egypt (c. 2686–2181 BCE). As one of the main characters of the Osiris #myth, she resurrects her slain husband, & is considered a divine mother figure. Her maternal aid was invoked in healing spells for all people. #FairyTaleTuesday

According to the myth of the Eastern Zodiac, the Ox carried the Rat across the river to the finish line. While there are various interpretations of the story I like to think the Ox and Rat worked together using the Ox's superb strength and the Rat's decision-making skills.
