The seedlings from resemble the Onions from Pikmin 1 and 2, specifically if you look at it upside-down. They both have very similar triangle markings around an opening and end in a point on the other side.

i feel like the darker tips on the neck fur could be hard to keep track of, but if you wanna keep the nice gradient feel maybe a suggestion would be to kind of morph them down/extend them into one marking?
