I don't know how we can show this more clearly w/o discovering a perfect uncrushed specimen: the crest of Dilophosaurus is formed by a dorsal expansion of the sinus that forms the antorbital fenestra (bigol snout window). There is NO evidence of separation between crest & fossa.

Tried out Substance Painter tonight and it was pretty fun! Didn't feel too hard to pick up and coloring in 3D is just as good for me as in 2D.

Model is the JWE Stegosaurus.
