So a fellow artist on discord suggested i made the shading on my hair more simplified. Wanted to show you the change and how i might be doing hair shading in the future. 1st pic - close-up and 2nd - zoomed out.

This is a subtle example, but as I worked on Netherworld Chronicles I simplified Mike's hairstyle into something I could draw in under 10 penstrokes to save time, and as a side-effect, it made him much more recognizable.
