After finishing the last issue I can easily say I will miss Scales and Scoundrels. It was a nice adventure for 12 issues and if it ever returns it will definitely be back on the pull list. Thank you

This was never intended to be a finished painting, just started as practice to play around with doing snake scales
A precursor for a future painting I wish to entitle “Ecdysis” - the process of shedding skin in reptiles, or getting rid of the outer shell in insects 🐍

The sea shells whisper together
While the nymph sings her song
It bubbles up to the surface
Through a sea of silver scales
And golden grotto dreams
A man hearing it
Forgets his life on land
Forgets even to breathe

The next O's Challenge by for this week was "Scales".

Guys... I REALLY want summer to be over..
I'm tired of literally melting on my seat.
But I have to admit that watching dads with glistening scales...
Their manly, masculine musk permeating the air wherever they pass by...
Is something I might miss...

Gorgeous Queen for my Ponds'n'Girls art series 🌺Was super happy finally to see the animated short with her! She has dark scales in her naga form, but I always imagined her with white tails, for me they're a bit more creepy)
