There are not-- however there is a facial refinement, where her head more more blocked out than it was originally, and that she used to have two eyes of eyebrow spikes! I don't mind if she's drawn with two layers still but noticed that I like the single row a lot. ^^

We started from an initial pixelart conceptart and throughly laid out the feeling of the level, the style and the architectural shapes. From the initial conceptart a lot of refinements were done gradually.
Later We separated all into assets, detailled them and added more stuff.

it absolutely depends on the character. i usually go thru between 2-4 on average, but the character continues to be "refined" the more times I draw them.
Ex: First "finished" design attempt, first digital (essentially his "final" design), and current version.

try to do this one paint style(idk what other people call this process) first so that i can see vaguely what i want... kinda of a 2 steps forward 1 step back method. now i know what i want, i can hopefully refine it.

Retouched the '' To Valhalla'' artwork because a friend of mine said that the rocks that are closer to the Viking were a bit meh, meaning they could be more refined so to speak xD
The left are the refined rocks and the other are the old ones!
