IDW’s Sonic comic is the first time in the main timeline Silver turns super. Silver only ever turned super in Sonic 06, before the timeline was reset for the those events to never happen. Since then, Super Silver has never been in any games or even in the Archie comics.

So the Archie Sonic comics have a fighting tournament arc, with very casual references to Honey from Fighting Vipers and Segata Sanshiro. It also eventually does a Mega Man crossover that ropes in Street Fighter, Breath of Fire, Golden Axe, Okami, Viewtiful Joe and many more!

I have never seen Ecco Drawn as a human at all even if you google it, but i have seen them drawn in the Archie comics as a Mobian Dolphin - Lieutenant Echo of the Meropis City Guard XD
