Same goes to all eras, my statement was an oversimplification to get my point across that each generation has its trend. each era has a different style that doesn't conform to their current trends e.g in 60s-80s there are realistic proportion humans and a"cartoony cartoons"

I did a quick sketch of my OC’s Charlie and Wilbur. You can really tell when I’m just brain dumping bc of the terrible proportions💀

Sweetie the possum VRChat Avatar for who won my holiday model raffle! So happy with how they came out, and had a blast with their zootopia-like proportions~ More like this, please!

Gotta echo Forsa on the MS Paint Anne, that's probably my pick. But Kikou...Kikou is everything haha, you were too kind to us on the character sheet. And for some reason I find her proportions perfect on the Banana Champ one

Pyra time~
(Never dawned on me before, but my base model is already very anime proportioned, I've only edited the head xD)

Also I don’t know what it is but his face shape looks slightly off or proportions are different.

Or maybe it’s just the hair being less solid so not covering the same space leaving more of the mask to be seen, making his face look off. Also his jawline looks more pointy.

proportions are a bit wonky and parts are under rendered but im sick of looking at this. crabman 🦀

More of this! i'm still fiddling with it, i think the proportions are more normal here, so i'm not sure if i should go back to more exaggerated/toony :3c

im currently working on my big comms, and i wanted to make sure my proportions are alright? and to see if it looks "epic enough" haha

any comments are welcomed :D

"Like what you see?"

Warm-up doodle from yesterday. Trying to get better at exaggerated proportions.

I see where you're going with it.

When I'm drawing a face, instead of trying to copy the image itself, I try to break it down the proportions first.

1st I draw the head or body as circles for proportion
2nd I draw a line down the middle to show where they're facing
3rd detail

Mostly animals, big ol’ eyes, squishy faces, the Pikachu proportions, colour coordination that you won’t see because I never colour them https://t.co/sHej2mqXul

I drew a photo of me in the Demon Slayer art style!

Honestly, I am in LOVE with this, and it was so much fun to study to anime’s style and try to mimic it into myself! I also learned a bit more about shading and proportions!

This may just have to be my new pfp

It's Lily! <3

There were some things I really didn't like about the model I had planned for her, (such as her proportions and hair) so I switched some things around and translated it to my normal style! I hope you like it as much as I do!

worked a bit more on Yura because the proportion is really off

she's an adult now i guess

// this may just be me, but i love how porco isn't like,, this stereotypically buff character, i guess? his proportions aren't exaggerated; his cheeks are a bit squishy (sometimes round too), his shoulders are broad, and his arms are kinda chubby!! it makes me feel very validated

I had noticed that amity came out with disproportionate hips. I guess it's better now.
