the genus Coprinellus is made up of "inky cap" mushrooms, which dissolve into a black, gooey substance with age. this species is called the Mica Cap because of small crystal-like scales on its cap!

day 10 Tessarion the Blue Queen I really liked how the description I found said she had copper scales and talons. I had to do a bit of a rush on the watercolor but I'll probably go back and finish the background later.
