I realize I never post very many process drawings so here’s a photo set of a quick character drawing. Basically I scribble out placement, add line work and then color the under layer. 🎨 🖌

Time to get into the axis placement stuff with regard to the hitbox scripts. As debug mode Ryu here illustrates, CPS sprites flip around a 2x2 pixel axis. Or perhaps you could say they shift a pixel in the direction that they flip.

Playing around w/ giving romy slightly more natural markings placement.. Theyre a were-thylacine so they can be any degree of fluffy or wolfish but i might make smth like this their default form 🤔 ??

While I've made some strides, there's still a ways to go. Some errors (helpfully pointed out by @arvalis) include the jawline and the placement of the secondary remiges. Feathers and wings are so damn complex! I'll do better next time for sure. #Utahraptor #paleoart #sciart
