7 years ago, Sui Ishida (author of Tokyo Ghoul) tweeted about making a one shot of Hisoka's past as an April Fools joke.
Just a little over a year later, that Hisoka one shot was published in Shonen Jump +.
Ishida also did an interview w/ Togashi on it⬇️

As a self published comic, 7" Kara represents 10 years of work and growth. This comic began as my MFA thesis comic, created at a time when a young, adventurous girl protagonist was unusual, an ADHD lead unheard of, and solving problems through understanding unusual.
The cover of 'The Legend of Zelda 4 Koma Gekijou' #5 Manga, published in 1994.
@Brucedraws Oh, I didn't realize we could suggest our own!
I think these two are my favourites from 2021. Both are personal works, unpublished.
"Ravenous Swarm" and "The Botanist".
It's #TransDayOfVisibility today! I'm Elle (sometimes spelled El). I'm 47, visibly trans for 20 years now, nonbinary, ace, and I draw stuff. That's my selfie art in the first image.
Right now I'm working on my first graphic novel that will hopefully get published before I'm 50.
It is a day and I'm private and low key about my personal identity but I'm tired of feeling excluded by my own community so
I write books (like 21 published now) and you can find them on my website or Amazon. They all have LGBT protags and lots of horror stuff baked in.
@Brucedraws May as well throw my hat in the ring! All unpublished personal work, 'Imbue', 'Found', 'Fixated', 'Desert Provenance'. Thanks for sharing, Bruce!
New Chapter 64 “My Pet is a Warlord” is already up!

@francesca707 For me it might be Than from my Netherrealms project (unpublished) or the Ace of Wands for the Wyrmwood Corrupted Tarot. (Which is product illustration probably?)

Bonus pic: Here’s my attempt at a Cerebus the Aardvark versus Howard the Duck (tho I must admit I’m more of a duck fan...) - after Dave Sim (and originally published in the British fanzine BEM in the 1970s)... :)
@arledgecomics Hello! I've done colorist work for BOOM! & Image Comics, as well as a bunch of self published work. If you think I'd be a good fit, I'd love to talk more about the project & page rate. Thanks so much!😁

@beckkubrick This sounds super fun! Character driven fantasy is right up my alley. I was a colorist for BOOM! & Image Comics, and self published various projects including an LGBT fantasy webcomic called Woodlands!
Thanks for the consideration!✨
