With the stadium/arena shown and the Sword/Shield theme, my guess is that the starter evolutions will be competitive fighter themed.
Grookey= Sumo/Samurai
Scorbunny= Knight/fencing
Sobble= Gladiator/Spartan

So I watched the direct and graphically the game is exactly what I wanted from an HD Pokémon game. Starters kinda leave a lot to be desired but... guess I’ll be choosing the fire starter again Can’t wait for all the stuff coming in 2019!
