I do like how the recoloured Digimon have justification for their existence; it was so that in Digimon World the player could differentiate between wild Digimon and NPCs. They also gave them different abilities and lore, so they seem more unique.

So the Cooking Competition adventure that'll be included in will have a whole town for your party to run around in!
They'll have to find info on the monster to hunt and cook it.
NPCs will be illustrated along with a whole town map!
