This week I've been messing with custom normals to achieve clean toon shading in 3D, studying the techniques used in games like Guilty Gear. The topology is so far from what I'm used to, it's really taken me out of my comfort zone, but I'm really happy with the results so far.👌

In 2013 I’ve spent almost a year on trying to learn about digital painting.
Game of Thrones (total of 6 posters) was one of my faves.
While I don’t paint much anymore, It helped me to improve techniques like my colour work, composition, storytelling - that I still use today✊🏼
Been trying out new techniques for my practices. Hope I could be more confident in doing this. On the bright side, I can draw better eyes and render lighting better now.
