Some excellent Wakelin artwork for Psycho Soldier there. 👍 Dragon Ninja (aka Bad Dudes) was quite a good conversion IMHO. There was an arcade game at the local chippie, so I did get many chances at rescuing President Ronnie. 😋

the 90s Tokyo Babylon OVA is not a complete adaptation of the manga (one reason people are excited about the new anime) but it is pretty good, worth a watch IMHO!!!!!

New Nightmare is visually fantastic w/ a solid 4th wall breaking plot never attempted before in the genre at the time. It's a movie IMHO, gets better the more times you've seen it. It has a very layered story & satisfying build to the final battle. Like a good WWE main event.

Wow the record is absolutely *stunning*. I liked the last record but the leap forward here is gargantuan imho.

It positively soars - brilliantly heavy with lush melodies and magnificent delicacy at times. I’m going to be listening to this an awful lot.

Actually, an interesting way to have taken it, would be to leave the people as character-based objects, so no code needs to be changed for the fighting and movement. But make all the doorways and archways sprites. You'd need a multiplexor but minimal change to the game-code IMHO.
