It's John Buscema's birthday. I got to work with JB at the very beginning of my career, when I (in a state equal parts excitement and terror) took over CONAN from the great Roy Thomas.

Let's say I still had lot to learn, but it was an honor working with one of my artist-heroes.

Remembering a fun project I did back in the 90s with incredible art by Michael Zulli & Al Williamson. This one flew so far below the radar that even I sometimes forget it existed, but it was a magical story and the art was gorgeous.

Wrapped the bulk of the work on a new novella! Still some editing/tinkering to be done, but you should be seeing this in the first half of next year.
