Why you gotta hug me like that every time you see me?
Why you always making me laugh
Swear you're catching feelings
I loved you from the start
So it breaks my heart
When you say I'm just a friend to you 🎶💔

Non Marvel/DC books I recommend are The Darkness, which is a lot like Spawn, Witchblade, Haunt which was made by Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo, Invincible, The Walking Dead, Power rangers by BOOM! studios, and any of Matt Wagner's Grendel books.

I’m not a huge Art Adams fan, but this cover is great. Also, doesn’t McFarlane usually get credit for drawing Spidey’s web like that first?

Might I also add that Todd McFarlane’s Spider-Man can still be interpreted as red and blue as seen here in Web of Spider-Man and ASM

Greg Capullo's run on Spawn often under Todd McFarlane's ink gave us some amazing illustrations to gawk at.

I get comics have been going more writer-centric since the exodus of McFarlane and Co. but with that change, has come comics that read more like something from Aaron Sorkin. If you're going to be inspired by TV maybe go with something that Glen A. Larson had a hand in creating.
