Excited to be finishing up this piece! Currently finding the best level of opaque:transparent ratio so that you can see the details of the digital illustration and also see through to the natural moss and birch bark. Experimentations ensuing tonight!

why is this happening in 2.8?

First image is image alpha set to alpha blend in material settings, second is set to alpha clip. With alpha clip, it's only fully opaque or fully transparent. With alpha blend, the whole model becomes transparent, but with partly transparent parts
