hatching pens could create interesting texture for shading lmao
Here's some examples of my illustrations!
I tend to draw with either very bold lineart, or thin lineart featuring a lot of hatching. Feel free to suggest which one you would like for your commission!

Who hasn't hatched their #gen2DerpyBirbs yet? Come on.... Get hatching them eggs!!!!🥚🥚🥚
Another rough statue sketch... I probably should have paid more attention to the body angle, but I did have a lot of fun with the hatching lines and shading ✨
I’ve come a long way to find my style and comfort.
I started making live sketches using stippling and cross hatching to get better at portraits years ago.
Here’s a little piece of my journey.
One of the first one’s I made for my mom.
Happy mother’s day🤍
@niceannoying I only use the tablet for color and grayscale/halftone, crosshatching and everything else is done traditionally. Not pictured, my blue pencils. I use @HandyArtTool for hand/head angles and references, LOTS of them. Both figures and model kits (like motorcycles, guns, and stuff)
Happy Hatchingday @hhyesunn 💙💙 me and @chissgender got a little something for you 🎂🎁🎉
@webtooncanvas I used to use a lot of cross hatching, my eyes were bigger and I just didn't really know how noses worked so overall I just improved, basically 🤣
@sadlydrop Cheers! I've been hatching away at comms myself but here is some of my most recent work as well as a fanart WIP im working on!
