@plasticfarm Yup, re-lettering original US comics books in another language (Spanish in my case). I did a couple of Batman, Spider-Man and Flash books for OVNI Press in Argentina and they required working directly on ID (just as most Manga localizators do too).
Kiryl’s Japanese and old localization name is Cristo (クリフト) which is the Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese form of the name Christo.
The name itself is a short form of the name Christopher or Christian.
Dora in Grey’s localization name is a play on based off 1890’s novella known as The Picture of Dorian Gray.
A story that involves the titular character Dorian Gray, a portrait of himself and a painter named Basil Hallward who was infatuated by Dorian’s beauty.
