Most of the photo-realistic compositing found in anime stems from a DoP committing to presenting the whole series under that approach. So Fire Force's unlikely case where Ryo Ohashi is acting as somewhat of a lone wolf leads to constant surprises bc the baseline is so different

Husband brought home some pawpaw fruit that was past its prime. I’ve tried saving the seeds and stratifying with no luck, so I’m taking a different approach. I planted the whole rotting fruit. I’m gonna leave it alone and see what happens. Who knows?

Respect to all opinions here ... but treating digital ‘like a painting’ is a style in itself ... something not everyone can pull off. I like the way it reads different than the industry standard approach. I’m playing around with something similar here ... degraded film stock look

I think my explanation for my framing technique is part vanishing point, part film maker approach.

When I did my Disney scene redraw, I had to figure out how Bastet’s belly would look from that angle. It took examining some reference pics and guess work to achieve that.
