Quick reconstruction of the new dromaeosaurid Dineobellator notohesperus. I wouldn't be suprised if this ends up being a species of Acheroraptor (if not just a specimen of the type species).
Just finished this reconstruction of the very large, deep-bodied and short-legged Achillobator giganticus, a Dromaeosaurid from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia #paleoart #sciart #dinosaurs
Welcome to #Dineobellator notohesperus! "New Dromaeosaurid Dinosaur (Theropoda, Dromaeosauridae) from New Mexico and Biodiversity of Dromaeosaurids at the end of the Cretaceous" by Jasinski et al. 2020. #theropods #dinosaurs #paleontology #FossilFriday https://t.co/sGaPeaIAUZ
@ZeeZeeMooMoo Wildly off, as it turns out! Spinosaurus was thought to be a carnosaur like allosaurus and kin, when it was actually a derived enough megalosauroid to be considered a crown member of its own clade; the spinosauridae. Pictured is an older reconstruction next to one from 2017.
Gift for @hibiscushydra of our spinosaurids!
Spinosaurus and Baryonyx bbys! 🦖🐟
I hope you like it!! 🌺
Another dino! Decided to draw a Scolosaurus this time. An ankylosaurid from the late Cretaceous period (76 million years ago). Was inspired by hippos for the colouration :) #Dinosaur #Dinosaurs #PaleoArt

I painted it in a pattern reminiscent of the Reaper.

E is for Euoplocephalus. It's name literally means 'well-armoured head'. And it was. This anyleosaurid giant, was tail whipping and head butting in Canada around 80 million years ago. #FossilFriday

An made up pachycephalosaurid to fit a niche I wanted. Surprisingly very good climbers, making them a bit of a pain to keep in pens. these little buggers are the dinosaur equivalent to goats for Kaer'sol
