Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (Arcade, 1994)
Very fun game with amazing 16-bit graphics and fun gameplay with a unique cast of whacky characters. The game kinda bumbles towards the end once your opponents start to feel more like they're being controlled by an algorithm. 8/10
... but the gameplay tweaks I did in 2020 (after 7years from the original release) make it feel MUCH more responsive than I remembered. Also, it featured some "2013 Andrea-made art", which is as dated as I can remember...😂
@TheGavNinja @C64Reloaded So.. Now that I'm older, I checked out Dragonskulle. Getting past that first screen is ridiculous, so I wasn't set-up to like it. The dragons are impressive, but the gameplay just rubs me the wrong way. So I'll stand by my bonfire comment. 😋 But the cover-art is nice, as always.

#10 Samba de Amigo. So this is one of the games I've never played since I missed out on the Dreamcast. I've always loved the designs by Sonic Team and the gameplay looks like a lot of fun. Maybe one day I'll stumble upon those maraca controls and get to play it.

With the amazing animation and character design, awesome music and gameplay, PO!! Wii is such a fun game and a wonderful modern adaptation to the classic NES game. If anything, it’s a love letter to the series.
#9 Elite Beat Agents. So I learned about this after I played Ouendan. It's basically the "western" version developed by the same team and also kinda a bridge between ouendan 1 and 2 in terms of gameplay. I'd totally recommend this game if it wasn't so hard to find now.
