My “free time before bed” - day 2: suit. I drew the squirrel first, the day before, & wasn’t going to post it, but then I kept thinking about how a penguin is technically already wearing a suit, And decided last second to add the squirrel portion to the scene. 😅

Improvement check!

I don't have any works from 5 years ago unfortunately. But if there's one thing I'm proud of, it's the improvement I've had when it comes to faces.

The lines are more confident, the colors mesh well, and the proportions just look better.

I realized I already painted a similar pose, so I was curious about what progress I’ve made. Right away, I noticed that my ability to judge proportions has improved drastically. Also, I’m getting much better at shadows 🖤

Ah I meant the reference model sheet. Stylized faces are very hard hard to do in 3D. I would suggest maybe downloading some game models off the model resource and looking at the structure, along with experimenting with more realistic face proportions since this head doesn't mesh.
