Rather than a character creator, you collect characters to play as. You are stuck with the main character being white for the story, but not for combat/puzzles/exploration. There are only 2 darker skinned characters so far though, Xinyan and Kaeya, but that isn't enough

I remember that the visual of Raiden shown at E3 2009 was changed to a blue-eyed Raiden in the puzzle game "PIECE WALKER" made to promote MGSPW in 2010, but the official visual of MG25th kept the yellow/brown-eyed Raiden.
