As much as I look forward to S/V, the only thing I don't like so far is the Terastal Phenomenon. Unlike previous gimmicks like Mega Evolutions or Z-Moves, it just feels like an excuse to sell toys rather than add to the overall metagame.

It is just the perfect open world game. It takes everything it learned from other FS games and other exemplars in the Open world genre to create, without question, the greatest open world game ever made

I'm always amazed at the Pokemon names. For example, Koraidon and Miraidon.

'-raidon' is pronounced Ride On. Which is great bc you ride on them. BUT also Korai (古來) means 'ancient times' and Mirai (未来) 'future,' the corresponding theme to each game.

Mascot Legendary Pokémon are essentially your All-terrain mode of transportation in this game.

I honestly like it, because they're deliberately designed for this role.
- better than "a ridiculously versatile bicycle"
- better than "random ride-Pkmn that don't even belong to you"

2020 - Helltaker
It was a hard pick between this and Hades but I think about Helltaker more often. Short and sweet fun puzzle game. Played this on stream with friends one night and had a blast.

2018: Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.

The first Switch Pokémon and it included some cool mechanics from the mobile game.

4 years later, still waiting for Let’s Go Johto!
