I do the same with inks and flats [dont together] and then shading & backdrop renders.

Sometimes I switch it up and do full panels at once if it is an enviro heavy page!

This can make a wild affect on in-progress pages.

🐸 while it really depends on the piece, I usually have a ROUGH sketch, a clean sketch, inks, colors, and block shading with my work! I rarely paint, but I have done some backgrounds in the past :)
