I've seen this a few times: an autistic person comes onto an online autism support group and says something like "vaccines cause autism" or "Autism Speaks is actually good" or any other unpopular opinion, and it starts SO MUCH DRAMA!

Dear Autism Speaks: A rebranding, and claiming that you want a kinder, more inclusive world doesn't ring true if you still support the same, awful practices.

An autism diagnosis can be such a relief for people who spent their entire lives thinking something was wrong with them. Spending their lives being called a freak, crazy, or worse. We're none of those things. We're autistic!
