It's an interesting idea to have an alien invader seek out earth due to a power crisis on their home world, feels like something we would do as a species, also reminds me of an ep of X-Men where Storm gets taken to another world to be used as a battery essentially.

His life feels devoid of purpose, so he seeks to find meaning and end his cycle as a zombie. Metaphorically. 💀
