Star Platinum’s fists are modelled after my own
I lowered the opacity and traced with some deviation to detail and placement https://t.co/p3bjTprWap
Was considering a cynder piece, but opted to go with a dragon I designed months ago...
Did most of my work one one layer in this piece. Also used the pressure opacity tool to experiment a bit, and sketch and shade naturally!
I often use mid tone and or saturated colors to shade for vibrancy/life and then set the opacity to how the atmosphere needs it, makes for an easier shading progress for me
Fun art facts with Ilt because she is bored while working —
I start with my sketch, add basic shadows/lighting, turn down the sketch's opacity, and line overtop following the sketch and basic shapes, seen in the second image as a WIP. Then, I go over again with detail lighting.
(Questionably) Hot Take:
I don't like "heat wave" farts in drawings. Brap clouds are just better in every way & allow way more expression of the fart with shape texture and opacity
Just comparing the two, the waves feel bland to me (example art by TKO-San on Deviantart)
@fullmewtal threw the colour one in there as well for reference- also i usually lower the opacity of the sketch to about 10-20% when i'm drawing the lineart bc drawing black lines on an opaque black sketch isnt fun!!!
Both these pics use the same base colors for Ayane's skin, eyes, and hair. Black is the only color I use for shading. I highlight with white. They end up looking different because of the colors/lighting/effects I layer over them, and how much opacity I use for the black.
@Yousefhegazyart @horiJGI and finally set that layer to Overlay, and then reduce the opacity as you'd like. Here's an example of a painting where I used this. The first image is the flat normal colors, the second one is with the help of that overlay layer! I think I set this one to a yellow color
@YuugiYugioh I use a pencil texture pen for EVERYTHING btw, no blending, just very low opacity and color dropping a lot for shading. Pink is ur best friend, go batshit with the blush and sunset eyes or nothing good luck bestie <3
Here's what the underneath looks like when you take the crop top off (please be aware its got opacity and transparency but it doesnt show up in blender renders well)
Sorry I don’t post here often!! Have #NSRRin as compensation!
I couldn’t decide what shading opacity looked cooler

and attempting to merge shit onto a 100% opacity layer so it can be merged down easier results in this
okay yall which version do you think has the better fitting opacity on the color reflection
left or right
will prolly delete this tweet once i get a solid answer
No opacity quick color study
A bread cloud and a mold witch. Don't let her get your bread!!

all I did was color in random spots, added more layers, adjusted the opacity and coloring, and just looked to see if I think it looked what I imagined https://t.co/g9nkUCal7y
Another art I quickly made. This one I made 100% with only one brush in #Krita: the basic 5 Size Opacity brush. I guess this scene would be a lonesome druid of the area blocking the way of a relief effort of the imperial army
