I’m not the best at character design yet, but sketch to to finish this was about 1hr 45min. The vector line layers allow you to auto clip overlapping lines and they just added a time lapse feature.

Oh you can import PS brushes now too I think.

How did you made it to make the shadows so sharp? When I try to do something similar the shadows keep overlapping with one another and making these ugly gradients, have you perhaps ran into a similar issue?

I tried making the logo to practice with Adobe Illustrator—I still need to learn some basic things (like how to erase overlapping lines 😹) but I’m glad to be slowly making progress!

I mostly used 2 tools: real pencil for sketch & line art, and lasso fill for coloring, erasing & filling in blocks. by blocking-in areas, it helps you focus on key points of the drawing and avoid confusion on overlapping parts. This is where you can find lasso fill. I use it alot

This page of Tarot was particularly tricky to do. Alan asked me to draw multiple versions of Thor and Valkyrie as Heimdal is seeing reality shifting. I drew all of them on overlapping separate layers, and then play with their opacity on photoshop to produce that blurry vision.

Some small changes I've decided to make to eye style for my standard style, making the way I do them similar to my chibi eye style. The eye shines are no longer overlapping the iris line. The nose is also been simplified for Standard style like it is on Chibi.

I love the wickerbeast model, only issue is that the substance painter/PSD files are a bit of a mess. Alot of errors and layers overlapping. Things from the upper fluff layer are bleeding into the other layers and i can see scribbles and such scattered around

It also depends on how much shading you want. I go for very minimalistic shading. But as you can see:
1 Is my spotlight so anything under it will not be shaded. But 2 will be shaded because its under the light. 3 is her overlapping right leg so part of her left leg is shaded
