not a shortcut but a lil tip for coloring!

when i have to fill in a complex illustration with several layers i prefer to base color it with dark colors first. this way it's way easier and faster to see if you have some layers overlapping/not filled properly.

Sandslash is pretty great too! I miss the almost brick-like armour but the overlapping plates are a neat look that doesn’t have any equivalent elsewhere in the series. I like to think it uses the big claws when foraging to tear into old tree trunks to expose termites! 8/10
