Hand Study ✋

Start with basic/simple shapes, don't worry about details. Lines for the fingers to get their direction. Build up the silhouette/form.

For values, it helps to work big/blurry to small/refined. Get in the lighting direction first.

I'm working on prints for KS and figured I'd show the preliminary steps I do & mistakes I made.

I block shapes, try to figure out values & general colors before starting the painting. I have a general feel for what I want now. But I cant start the painting until I fix mistakes.
