I do a more realistic nose but I use the character's manga nose shape to inform it--I try to communicate the shapes of the bridge and nose tip, and then the width of the nostrils, and then the lil indents where the eye socket meets the nose (pic cause idk if I made sense lol)

manga is Seiji Tanaka, from my pile of long forgotten lovable Jump Starts. Note the usage of CC hushhush as the main font, (same as Kaiju No. 8) but without the slight character width compression.

I learned my lesson, as that manga had some tricky word balloons!

How do you feel about width wrt tube limbs?

I found skinnier ones with big hands and feet lend well to the "active" mascot look, but a little wider and bends naturally looks cuter. I guess it depends on what you have them do but I'm often trying to find a sweet spot between em.

Rough muzzle surface is mostly finished. A bit slimmer in width and thinner. Surfaces are made using T-splines, resulting in delicious smooth surfaces (at the cost of some headaches).
Some work remains before the 60mm fan mount, LED covers and screw holes are placed.
