A few days ago, I made a painting of my OC Lucretia and experimented with Medibang's oil paint brushes. I don't plan to use these again since I find them hard to use, but I guess they add an interesting texture(which is especially useful for hair) .

Fun fact - all of the shading on these pieces was done with a ton of small dots with a Mili pen to give it that texture, not a spray brush (with the exception of the border, which was a grit brush).

Have also been practicing drawing my #FFXIV character, which is a little more detailed than the last one, happy with skin texture now, but hair needs a lot of work (WIP), but I'm determined to get as good with a tablet as am I with a pencil, if not surpass it!
Up next is a simpler full-body drawing but of which I labelled as polished due to trying to match the textures like it was drawn traditionally.

Loved the #miltonavery exhibition @royalacademy. Such deceptive simplicity! Particularly appreciated his use of under-drawing to texture thin layers of paint (eg hair in March in Brown (1954) & contours in Reclining Blonde (1959)) - stunning all around!
In the end I forgot LWJ's sheer floaty ribbon thing so I added it in. 🥲 I've also started using tones in some of my more graphic pieces in order to give texture variation but they compress poorly on Twitter so here are some close-ups!!
