One of my favorite moments in comicdom was when a horrible writer had sleep with Juggernaut so Dan Slott created a whole entire storyarch in his She-Hulk run where there’s a fake She-Hulk running around and SHE was the one to smash Cain so our Jen Walters was innocent.

I miss those days, how much we learnt from these books. The writers put our culture and traditions into consideration while we learnt at the same time. The pictures and names cut across different ethnicity and religion. How a lot has changed now…

In spite of this some writers managed to restore some of Jade’s personality throughout the years, her love for her daughter; her morals and her dimension, writing her as a tridimensional person instead of a trope (dragon lady). This happened in The Titans and Titans.
