Starting off 2021 with some Dragon Quest 11 Veronica, and the staff with questionable motives, as it puffs up her body to zany proportions.

I plan to do more of this kind of body shape in the future, as I find iot has a certain unique charm. Hopefully others can enjoy it too.

Now that nobody cares i can give this a try. While i do agree the original is ugly, i don't see it as that of a technically bad drawing. Anyway, i tried to keep this somewhat faithfull to the original proportions.

i'd definitely say i got better at anatomy, proportions and poses overall compared to earlier this year! i'd like to focus on doing more scenes and maybe starting to finally draw humans! (first was on january 17th ish, second was today!)

I must've significantly resized Maruko at some point. Tsuyuri—whom I used as the original proportions reference—is gigantic in comparison. I like Maruko's proportions better so I think I'm going to resize Tsuyuri down. Smol Shun for old-res reference
