Just as this poor fella gradually becomes more and more of a pig, this piece started as practice then got more and more refined. I particularly like how the clouds came out. I'll have to remember how I made them for next time.

Usually a REALLY messy base sketch to just get the general movement and form down, then a refined sketch and depending on how rendered I want it to be, lineart on top. Then I just block in base colours (or values if I'm going for greyscale), add shading/lighting and edit!
