Latex texture practice 👀

For the past few days, I've been overhauling my model's original textures for @BlueAnothen's Merkava. Making good progress! Here's what I've redone so far.

He may not have much of a texture yet, but he does have the power of anime on his side!

@dylancuthbert It's crazy how good it handles colors, compositions and texture. I'm baffled by what I can do with even the most simple prompts.

(lighting isn't perfect because it's currently using 3D lighting instead of textures, but it does give an idea ^-^)

These 3, (more to come) are related, and I think they look better together. For these I'm going for a more phototexture-y look, but since I really dislike using photos in my paintings, I'm keeping it to a minimum.

The raddest thing about digital watercolor. I can (kinda sorta) paint on so many types of surface(from their shop)! Even that ratty scrap of paper with a nice texture won't wrinkle, shrivel and discolor from getting waterlogged!
