Centipede still felt off - like if it was smashes over the art, not properly integrated in the environment. I had to make many light adjustment, and spend quite some time working on subsurface of legs + reflection of environment + contrast adjustment on roots. Now a bit better.

my surface pro tends to make colours look a lot more saturated than they really are, which is why this process vid looks so bland. Also! I usually draw at least a starting sketch before I start rendering but i was in a ✨creative mood✨ at the time.
