Exploration! Which here means running Polpetto through the paleoart sketchbook filter and hoping it looks somewhat cohesive! #art #sketchbook
Character design and color explorations. Process on my IG.
Had a shitty day yesterday, still went ahead to punish myself more by doing some exploration on a fictional Skateboarding Festival.
Refined this one a whole lot since the other day ^^ Finally getting somewhere... Also, some movement explorations!
@cjkasulke @agbeardsley This is for real the truth. My first campaign, I decided to play a nonbinary bard and they were my little safe exploration into being referred to by they/them pronouns. That character means so much to me now and I don't know that I would feel as free as I do now without them!
difficult to do the same thing with game design, because:
1) my aesthetics bounce all over the place
2) i work with other folks a lot of the time and it's hard to take a screenshot that's 100% my work
that said, here's a 2016 3d exploration game vs a 2020 one

I really enjoy this line work and flat color exploration I've been doing, so I'd like to experiment more!
If you have an OC you'd like to see in this style, drop a ref in the comments! I'll choose a couple to draw 👀

Today marks the 51st anniversary of the #LunarLanding, the day we first walked on the moon in 1969, and a stunning technological achievement was made for humanity. Here's to those who dream!
