I wrote my 2nd novel with minimal chapter outline and it ended up around 123,000. I spent considerable time creating new character and location names before writing chapters, but creating names isn't the same as a plot outline 🛡️⚔️🏰

seconding this! it’s my go-to for backlighting and i use a very dark red or burnt sienna-type-color most of the time. this is old artrage stuff but in procreate i draw my outline in a color that’s way too bright so i can see where it is and then use hsl to fix :-)

I tried using a diff brush (only one brush) and not doing an outline sketch just straight painting and slapping of colors. Ya know, just mindlessly painting ahhh idk haha she looks ok 2 me
