I've started doing more fan art this year, but stopped worrying about their potential popularity and mostly focusing on books I've enjoyed.
(pictured: REDWALL by Brian Jacques, THE STARLESS SEA by Erin Morgenstern, ONCE FUTURE by Kat Howard, and Baba Yaga from Russian folklore)

Another gone today. Pot-Scraper, has gone back home. So your leftovers are safe. Though if you were depending on them to save you cleaning your pots, bad news.

I'm Zoe and I'm an independent artist currently working on a myth/folklore inspired comic. I basically am just like the girl in the gif who likes drawing jellyfish, only monsters instead

If anyone is wondering what a Phooka is, they're a fae that exists in Celtic folklore. Phooka is a word that can be spelled in a few different ways: Pooka, Phouka or Púca. The spelling and similar design I used were based on a beloved book series called The Spiderwick Cronicles.

Very unimpressed at the ratio of crappy super hero movies released compared to movies based on lesser known spooky folklore, cryptids and legends 💀
