With the New Year and all, I wanted to revisit some of my favorite Animation short films... especially ones that feel suited to this cozy, cold, dark, transitional time. Some may be a bit morbid, heads up.
And do add your own favorites, if you please.

I'm a horror film buff. I especially like werewolf films.

I normally create posters with an image that conveys the theme and mood of the film, but every now and then I feel inspired to create comps of multiple elements and moments of said films. Here are some examples I am proud of!

To ring in the New Year I'm going to watch all of the Garden of Sinners films. Need my Type-Moon mutuals to gas me up here. Very excited to see what this is all about, especially since my GOAT Maaya Sakamoto plays the lead!

Our summer filmmaking project went ahead online this year with students around the country joining our virtual workshop to create their own stop-motion films. Keep an eye on our website in Feb 2021 to see the results of this project. https://t.co/1XLcuo7ZDZ

Christmas music. Ghibli films. Hot cocoa (not for you, little birb).

Have a safe and cozy holiday weekend! I'll be working on improving and finding my art style!

I like to draw mandalas and patterns mostly. It's so relaxing!
Also, I draw them as a fanart to beloved games and films.

I strongly believe Moana and Zootopia are Disney's most gorgeous looking films. They're so vibrant and full of life!

Man it’s tough to pick my favorite between the last 3 Naruto films. I’m rewatching Road to Ninja & I forgot how much I love this one too!

I can keep it going, whether it's short films...

I went through that middle-school phase where I thought I had to "grow out" of animation.

I was happily wrong.

Now I enjoy everything from children's cartoons to gory anime to art films. Because no matter who it's for, beauty is universal.

Animation is for EVERYONE.
