I came across some sketches from the cancelled Sony Pictures Animation film Medusa which was gonna be directed by Lauren Faust where Medusa tries to undo her gorgon curse and try to become a human again. I do hope one day they can try to revive this.

Knowing how well Puss in Boots: The Last Wish after DreamWorks revived the project after being stuck in development hell for over a decade, I really hope they reexamine and try to take another stab at some of their other cancelled animated films from the 2010s.

The next Winsor McCay Award has been presented to Craig McCracken. One of the most legendary TV animation creators ever, he has been responsible for creating amazing animated shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Wander Over Yonder, and Kid Cosmic.

The character designs for the cancelled Disney Animation film King of the Elves looked so creative and interesting. I always wonder how this film would've turned out knowing that it was Disney trying to adapt Phillip K. Dick.
