Koraidon is so cute & one of my favs now after seeing how it moves in yesterday's trailer. It's such a clever ride design too, to have the dewlap inflate and the tail curl up to resemble wheels but not actually BE wheels! I love this creature 💖

I just wanna note that Koraidon is more likely based on the Cuélebre when it comes to mythical inspirations! The dragon is some times depicted with sails or feather-like spines, and it's possibly even a insperation for the wind serpents in WoW!

I also definetely think “what’s the point???” when you look at it running like that in the trailer, but biology wise

Koraidon’s “wheels” remind me of the dewlaps that some lizards have under their necks, more than anything else. Plus it cleary uses it for floatation when surfing

So a thing I noticed. The rideable Koraidon and Miraidon forms aren't straight up their regular forms on all four. They change slightly in appearence too. A good example is how Miraidon's eyes look!

In the trailer it was teased them going back to their regular form though!

Pokémon Koraidon/Miraidon is probably inspired by Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

I mean that is the only creatures that look motorcycle-esque and you can drive it on it. XD
